Prez polls: Ballot Box reached Delhi from Assam Legislative Assembly

July 19: A total of 123 MLAs out of 126 MLAs cast their votes yesterday for the 16th Presidential Election 2022 in the Central Hall of the Assam Legislative Assembly. The polling took place smoothly under the supervision of ECI Observer, Leena Johri and CEO Assam, Nitin Khade.

“Mr Ballot Box”, along with other Election materials were safely transported from the Central Hall of Assam Legislative Assembly to the LGBI Airport, Gauhati, amidst tight security and deposited at The Parliament, New Delhi, late at night on the 18th of July by a team of Officials consisting of Addl CEO Pradeep Kumar Doley and AROs Dulal Pegu and Rajeeb Bhattacharya.
