Earthquake measuring 4.0 jolts Manipur on Sunday morning

June 28: From the last few days, earthquakes have become a regular affair in Northeast. On Sunday morning at 11.24 a quake occurred in Ukhrul of Manipur. The tremours were felt almost in the entire state and some parts of Assam. The quake measuring 4.0 in the Richter scale took place at a depth of 60 kms. However, there was no loss of life and property.
