Tezpur Medical College lab accredited for testing of COVID-19

April 17: Assam’s strength in its fight against coronavirus was further strengthened on Friday with another testing lab in the state being accredited by ICMR, Delhi. State Health Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa informed that ICMR has approved facility at Tezpur Medical College as an accredited laboratory for testing of COVID-19. With this approval, Assam will now have 6 accredited laboratory. This the minister regarded would, “further bolsters our preparedness and testing capabilities.”
