District Administration Cachar appeals for united patriotic display
way2barak, August 13 — In the spirit of the 79th Independence Day and as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga initiative, the District Administration, Cachar, has called upon all traders, trade license holders, hotels, malls, commercial establishments, and business owners to join in commemorating this historic occasion with pride, dignity, and vibrant patriotic fervour.
The administration has urged all traders in municipal markets and licensed business operators to hoist or display the National Flag of India,strictly made from non-SUP (Single Use Plastic) materials,at their premises from August 13 to August 15, 2025. As a mark of goodwill, business owners are also encouraged to donate a Tiranga to underprivileged citizens, thereby fostering inclusivity and inspiring broader public participation in the celebrations.
Meanwhile,to heighten the festive spirit, owners of hotels, malls, and other prominent establishments have been requested to illuminate their premises in the colours of the Tiranga. Decorative lighting, patriotic motifs, and thematic displays are expected to transform Cachar into a radiant symbol of unity and national pride.
Independence Day is a time to honour the sacrifices of our freedom fighters and to reaffirm the district’s collective commitment towards a progressive and harmonious future. A district adorned in the hues of the National Flag will not only uplift the mood of the festivities but also stand as a testament to the unity and patriotism of the people of Cachar, inspiring visitors and future generations alike.
