DC Cachar oversees arrangements of new COVID Care Centre at MG Model Hospital

Sept.10: Deputy Commissioner, Cachar, Keerthi Jalli visited the MG Model Hospital, Kachudaram to oversee the preparations for a new COVID Care Centre on Thursday. Sumit Sattawan, ADC (Health), Suman Choudhury, Media Expert and Nurur Rahman Mazumder, AE (Civil) accompanied the Deputy Commissioner. Dr.NG Surendra Singha, SDM&HO, Sonai and staff of the hospital were also present.

After overseeing the arrangements, a discussionwith the officials also took place there. Plans to scale the Model Hospital into a fully functional one figured in the discussion. Issue of repeated thefts came up during discussion. Expressing displeasure over theft taking place with chilling regularity, Jalli asked the staff to ensure responsibility is shared and promised penal action next time.
