Dakshin Silchar branch of Bharat Vikas Parishad organises free health camp

July 12: A free health camp was organized by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP), Dakshin Silchar branch at Kurkoorie Tea Estate on Saturday to commemorate 58th Foundation Day of Bharat Vikas Parishad. At this Camp, a total of 210 patients were examined by Dr. Darshana Patoa, Dr Manjari Verma, Dr Devdatta Biswas and Dr Ranjana Dhar. Apart from examining the patients, the doctors also advised the people of the locality to protect themselves from Covid-19 infection.

Dr Kingshuk Adhikari, Treasurer of the BVP Dakshin Silchar branch and Biswaraj Chakraborty, Additional Secretary of the branch were the in-charge of administrative management of the health camp and managed overall activities of the camp with the support of Subhadeep Das and Partha Sukla of a pharmaceutical company and local health workers. Sangita Singh and Sunil Singh, Manager of the tea estate provided necessary infrastructure for conducting the camp.

Prof Niranjan Roy, President of Dakshin Silchar, Dr Darshana Patoa ,Secretary and Dr Devdatta Biswas Coordinator of all health related activities of Dakshin Silchar, conveyed heartfelt thanks to District Administration, all the members of Dakshin Silchar Branch and well wishers to make this event a grand success during the ongoing pandemic situation.
