All visitors at Manas National Park in Assam to undergo mandatory Covid test

April 21: In the wake of the increase in the number of coronavirus cases in the country, all domestic/ International visitors at Manas National Park in Assam will have to mandatorily undergo RAT or RT-PCR wherever necessary. All the owners of Hotels, Resorts, Tourist lodges, Manas National Park authority will not accommodate any person(s) in their Hotels, Resorts, Tourist lodges, Guest Flout, lB etc located in and around Manas National Park without negative test of COVID-19.

A dedicated medical team will be established at Manas National Park second gate for screening of visitors. All concerned shall maintain social distancing, use mask, hand sanitizer and maintain hygiene. The violation of the above order(s) by any person(s) shall be viewed seriously and action shall be taken on the erring person(s) as per law if found. This order comes into force with immediate effect until further order. This was stated in an order issued by the Additional District Magistrate & in-charge Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Salbari.
