Containment zone declared in an apartment at Ullaskar Dutta Sarani, Silcharশিলচরে উল্লাসকর দত্ত সরণির অ্যাপার্টমেন্টে কন্টেনমেন্ট জোন
এই জোনে সাধারণ জনতার প্রবেশ ও বেরনো নিষিদ্ধ করা হয়েছে। যান চলাচলও নিষিদ্ধ থাকছে। চিকিৎসা সংক্রান্ত প্রয়োজনীয়তা, জরুরি পরিষেবা, অত্যাবশ্যক পণ্যসামগ্রী ছাড়া অন্য কোনও কাজে ওই কন্টেনমেন্ট জোনে লোক চলাচল সম্পূর্ণভাবে নিষিদ্ধ। জেলাশাসক তথা জেলা বিপর্যয় মোকাবিলার কর্তৃপক্ষের চেয়ারপার্সন কীর্তি জল্লি শনিবার জারি করা এই আদেশে পুলিশকে এই নিষেধাজ্ঞা কঠোরভাবে কার্যকর করতে নির্দেশ দিয়েছেন।
May 16: As per new Covid guidelines issued by the Government of Assam, micro containment zones are to be declared in areas which has a positivity rate of more than 5 percent. It is in this connection that Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner cum Chairman of District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Cachar in a notification issued on 15 May, 2021 stated that Covid-19 positive cases has reached more than 5% positivity rate in the last one week at at Matrisi Appartment, Ullaskar Dutta Sarani, Silchar. As such, to contain the further spread of the virus, the geographical area mentioned below was declared as a containment zone and which was immediately sealed.
Proposed containment zone boundary:
- North: Open space & pond
- South: Biswas Apartment
- East: House of Dr Rashu Paul
- West: Modan Mohan Apartment
To implement the above instructions, following restrictions were also imposed in the geographical area mentioned above:
- Clear entry and exit points are to be established.
- No unauthorised entry and exit of the residents in the contained area will be allowed.
- Vehicular movement is to be strictly prohibited.
- No movement is to be allowed except for medical emergencies, essential goods and services.
- No unchecked influx of population is to be allowed
- People transiting are to be recorded and followed through IDSP.
- Stricter enforcement of all statutory directions regarding social distancing.
District Magistrate Keerthi Jalli stated that the orders are issued as per Govt. Order Issued vide Memo No. ASDMA.24/ 2020/Pt- 11/ 241, dated 12th May, 2021.
