Centralised Command Control Room for Covid-19 started in Cachar
May 30: A Centralised Command Control Room (War Room) under the initiative of Arogya Cachar scheme was ceremonially inaugurated by Deputy Commissioner, Cachar Keerthi Jalli on Sunday in the presence of CEO i/c Health, District Joint Director of Health, Assistant Commissioner, doctor on call, DPM NHM, DPM ASRLM, DDSM among others.
The War Room will be a centralised public grievance redressal system for all Covid needs and will function even during late night. This is in addition to the block level efforts of tele-consultation. The staff & officials involved in this endeavour will work round the clock to assist the people and ensure success in the fight against the pandemic. The authorities requested the public not to misuse this facility
It needs mention here that Project Aastha initiated in phase 1 of Covid in Cachar has been re-initiated under War Room for tele-counselling patients and families who are suffering from extreme anxiety during the pandemic. They have made a collaboration with Psychiatry department of Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH).
