None found Covid+ve in Karimganj & Hailakandi on Saturday

Dec. 4: Hailakandi is gradually inching towards a Covid free district. On Saturday too , Hailakandi registered no new COVID-19 case. The district has altogether has 01 active COVID-19 case. During the day, 515 RAT tests and 56 RT-PCR tests were done. 01 patient was discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,923 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,495 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that no person was found positive in Hailakandi on Friday. Till date, 51 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district.  A total of 2,797 persons were vaccinated on Saturday.

Karimganj registered no fresh COVID cases on Saturday. The district has currently 05 active COVID cases, while 04 patients were discharged from hospitals and home isolation on Saturday. 718 swab samples were collected during the day. It needs mention here that no persons were detected positive in Karimganj on Friday.
