Cachar CJM issues notification on driver recruitment process

way2barak, March 13: The Office of the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Cachar, has issued an order regarding the recruitment process for the post of Driver, ensuring transparency and fair opportunity for all applicants.

In adherence to the directive, the Chief Judicial Magistrate has ordered the publication of the accepted and rejected application lists on the official website of the Cachar District Judiciary. Additionally, these lists will be displayed on the Notice Board of the Establishment for easy access. Candidates whose names appear on the rejected list have been granted the opportunity to submit representations contesting their rejection on or before April 11, 2025.

Furthermore, candidates who successfully qualify for the written examination will be required to submit an affidavit affirming that neither they nor their family members are beneficiaries of the Orunudoi scheme or that they have voluntarily opted out of the scheme at the time of appointment or engagement. This directive aligns with the recent mandate issued by the Gauhati High Court on March 10.

This significant step by the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Cachar, aims to uphold fairness and transparency in the recruitment process, ensuring compliance with judicial directives while providing candidates with the opportunity to address any discrepancies in their application status. All concerned candidates and stakeholders have been duly informed to act accordingly within the stipulated timeframe.
