CM Assam hints at Cabinet expansion by 9 June!

June 2: Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma on Thursday hinted that there will be a minor expansion in the cabinet ministry on 9 June, 2022. CM Sarma stated that a new face will be added in his cabinet from the hilly regions of Karbi Anglong and Dima Hasao. However, the chief minister did not reveal the name of any minister as of now. At present, there are 14 ministers in the Cabinet of Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma-led BJP Government in Assam.
