Yoga meets Nature : Niramaya Spreads Green Message through ‘Harit Yoga’ at AUS NSS camp

Way2barak, April 22 : Niramaya School of Yoga Education, Silchar in association with the Ministry of AYUSH and the Indian Yoga Association celebrated ‘Harit Yoga’ which is a special yoga session to commemorate the Earth Day on April 22, in Assam University’s NSS camp. The camp was mentored by Niramaya’s trainers and master trainers. The NSS volunteers practiced mudra pranayama, asanas, and special meditation techniques. Followed by this, the participants collectively planted saplings of Ayurvedic plants.

Through the practice of various yogic techniques, discussions, and tree plantation, the participants expressed their gratitude towards Mother Earth and nature. It is noteworthy that Niramaya School of Yoga is recognized by the Yoga Certification Board under the Government of India and the Indian Yoga Association. Additionally, it follows the lineage of the Parmanand Institute of Yoga Science and Research.

Niramaya conducts regular programs to spread the message of yoga in the North eastern parts of India. Here it is also worth mentioning that as part of the 11th International Day of Yoga, the “Yoga Chetna Mahotsav” has been underway since March 8 and will continue until June 21. During this period, Niramaya has committed to organize over a hundred yoga-related programs including awareness events, workshops, and special sessions.
