Assam registers 2 more COVID-19 deaths, tally reaches 94

July 30: On Thursday, the State Death Audit Board certified two more deaths in the state due to COVID-19. The deceased were identified as Aolepshi Jamir (57) of Kamrup Metro and Swapan Saha (45) of Darrang. With this, the death tally of the state has gone upto 94. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “I mourn the demise of two more #COVID19 patients today. May God give the bereaved families enough strength to bear the loss. Prayers & condolences.”
