Cachar Admin extends deadline for land acquisition roles in major NH project

way2barak, October 30: In a decisive move to support the timely advancement of the four-lane National Highway project in Cachar District, the Office of the District Commissioner has extended the application deadline for six vacant positions for retired government servants. Originally advertised on October 14, 2024, under Advertisement No. CLA.1/2024/31, the deadline now provides applicants until one week after October 29, 2024, to submit their applications.
These key positions will play a pivotal role in the land acquisition process, a fundamental step in facilitating the National Highway Infrastructure Development Corporation Limited’s (NHIDCL) project. This extensive highway expansion is poised to enhance transportation networks, foster economic growth, and improve connectivity throughout Cachar and the surrounding areas.
