Cachar achieves numerous accolades in Kayakalp Awards; Civil Hospital gets 2nd position

March 29: Under the Kayakalp Award Programme, S. M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar has achieved 2nd position under District Hospital Category in the state. Under CHC category, five hospitals have bagged the Kayakalp awards out of 7 CHCs. 19 PHCs have bagged Kayakalp awards out of 31 PHCs and 25 HWCs have bagged Kayakalp awards out of 62 HWCs.

“It is the collective effort of doctors, paramedics, nurses, programme managers, cleaners and each staff which has contributed to bring about this unprecedented success. The success will definitely boost the health workers and the expectations of public on Govt. Health institutions,” stated the District Media Expert. He also expressed thanks to the Deputy Commissioner for leading the team from the front.
