Biggest spike of 2112 +ve cases in Assam, tally reaches 38,407
Active cases 10,478 in Assam
July 30: On Thursday, Assam registered its biggest spike of 2112 positive cases. With this, the state tally of coronavirus cases went upto 38,407, out of which, 10,478 are active cases. Further, two more persons died on Thursday in the state, thereby taking the death tally to 94. In a tweet, State health minister Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 2112 new #COVID cases detected in Assam out of 41028 tests in last 24 hrs. Kamrup (M): 283 Nagaon: 211 Kamrup (R): 210 Sonitpur: 132 Positivity rate~ 5.14%.”
