Bharat Vikas Parishad organises free health camp for flood victims at Durga Sankar Patshala
May 25: On Wednesday, a free health camp for the flood victims was organised by Bharat Vikas Parishad (BVP) Dakshin Silchar branch at Durgasankar Patshala, Ambikapatty, Silchar. At this camp, ninety people registered their name for obtaining the health care facilities. Patients were examined by Dr Darshana Patoa, Dr Devdatta Biswas, Dr. Manjari Verma and Dr. Ranjana Dhar.
Biswaraj Chakraborty- Additional Secretary and Dr. Kingshuk Adhikari, Treasurer of BVP Dakshin Silchar branch were personally present along with the members Dr. Debotosh Chakraborty, Dr. Kalyan Das, Dr. Subhadeep Roy Chowdhury, Dr. Nabendu Sen, Sujata Datta Gupta and Paramita Das Choudhury to overview the functioning of the health camp.
Joint director of Health Services, Cachar extended support to BVP Dakshin Silchar by approving the supply of requisite medicines for the camp. Cadets of NCC were also involved for smooth functioning of the camp. Bhubaneswari Devi Foundation too extended support for organizing this programme successfully.
Dr Darshana Patoa, secretary of BVP Dakshin Silchar branch conveyed heartfelt thanks to all the members, officials and organisations who directly and indirectly extended cooperation and support to make the event a grand success. Dr. Debotosh Chakraborty of BVP Dakshin Silchar informed this in a press release.
