‘Divyangjan’ inaugurates the pandal of Dakshin Link Road Durga Puja Committee on Sasthi

For a mother, all her sons and daughters have got equal place for her love and blessings. A similar humanitarian gesture was exhibited during Durga Puja 2022 by Dakshin Link Road Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee, 2nd Link Road. Silchar.

The puja pandal was inaugurated on the day of Sashti of Durga Puja. But the pandal was not inaugurated by any politician or who’s who. Rather the organisers inaugurated their Durga Puja Pandal by the ‘Divyangjan’ or ‘Differently abled’ persons. It was indeed a humane gesture exhibited by the members of Dakshin Link Road Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee, 2nd Link Road. Silchar.

The Dakshin Link Road Sarbojonin Durga Puja Committee, 2nd Link Road. Silchar has been organising the puja since 1984. However, this year, they really gave a new meaning to the puja arrangement by trying to give a space to the ‘Divyangjan’ or ‘Differently abled’ persons. For this, the people of the locality expressed special thanks to the Secretary Biplob Dey and other members of the puja committee. Also present during the inauguration of the puja pandal were Vice President Uttam Kr. Dey, Treasurer Sanjoy Nath, Joint Secretary Amar Poddar among others.
