Teachers & staff of Assam University pledged to discourage corruption on Vigilance Awareness Week 2022

way2barak, Nov.1: On the occasion of Vigilance Awareness Week 2022 teachers and staff of Assam University Silchar on Monday pledged to discourage corruption in any form and to work with added enthusiasm.

Prof Rajive Mohan Pant, vice chancellor administered the pledge and urged the fraternity to work towards making the university a corruption free institution. Prof GP Pandey, Chief Vigilance Officer of the varsity and Dean, Abanindranath Tagore School of Creative Arts and Communication Studies spoke on the significance of the day and urged everyone to realize their responsibilities towards curbing corruption. He said that honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi is fighting against corruption and it is the responsibility of everyone working in responsible organizations and conduct their duties to discourage corruption of any form at work places.
