Assam University make changes in the admission schedule of PG courses

Dec. 17: Due to the all-India bank strike, reconciliation of fees deposited by the candidates whose names appeared in the 1st merit list could not be completed. As such, it seems to be difficult on the part of the University to declare the 2nd list of Post Graduate (PG) admission on the scheduled date, that is, 17 December, 2021. As such, the Vice Chancellor has given his approval to certain changes in the schedule of PG admission.

Here are the changes notified by the Registrar in-charge of Assam University, Silchar on 17 December, 2021:

• Last date of payment of fees by the 1st list candidates: 19 Dec, 2021
• Publication of 2nd merit list: 22 Dec, 2021
• Payment of fees by the 2nd list candidates: 22 to 14 Dec, 2021
• Commencement of 1st semester classes: 20 Dec, 2021
