755 found Covid +ve in Assam on Tuesday, 3 deaths & active cases 4,858 in the state

July 19: On Tuesday, out of 7,3121 tests, 755 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus stands at 7,31,662. The positivity rate in the state is 10.60. percent. Out of the 755 positive cases, the high case load districts are: Baksa (64), Goalpara (63), Kamrup Metro (60) and Dibrugarh (60). Further, 25 persons were found positive in Cachar district on Tuesday.

Further, on Tuesday, 03 died in the state due to COVID-19. The deceased are from Cachar, Kamrup Metro & Udalguri. The death toll in the state stands at 6,654. The recovery rate is 98.24 percent. 303 persons were discharged during the day. So far, 7,18.798 persons got cured and were discharged. There are at present 4,858 active Covid patients in the state.

It needs mention here that on Monday, 764 persons tested positive in Assam and 03 deaths were registered.
