ASSAM RIFLES ORGANISING SIX DAYS NATIONAL INTEGRATION TOUR FOR SPECIALLY ABLED CHILDREN OF AGARTALA

way2barak, Feb 6 : Assam Rifles organising a six days national integration tour for 36 specially abled children of ‘Ferrando Rehabilitation Centre For Disabled, Agartala (Tripura).

Tour will cover four cities of three states namely Agartala, Silchar, Shillong and Guwahati of Tripura, Meghalaya and Assam.

Flag off for tour was done by Sector Commander 21 Sector Assam Rifles on 06 Feb 23 from Agartala and on reaching to Srikona( Sichar) Inspector General Assam Rifles (East) welcomes and interacted with children.

These children will move to Shillong on 07 Feb 23 and will interact with Director General Assam Rifles and Governor of Meghalaya. Further they will go to Guwahati and back.

Beside the interactions, sight seeing is also planned in each cities for them. The idea of the tour is to help the children in building and enhance their independent living. This tour will definitely develop more confidence and experience in them. Parents and teachers of these children conveyed their sincere thanks for all the support given by Assam Rifles.
