Covaxin to be administered to persons aged 15 to 18 years at 4 centres in Silchar from 9-12 Feb

Feb. 7: Covid-19 vaccines (both 1st dose & 2nd dose) will be administered at 4 centres in Silchar town from 9 February to 12 February, 2022. During this phase, the adolescents in the age group of 15 to 18 years will be able to take either their 1st or 2nd dose vaccine. A total of 1,700 doses of Covaxin will be administered in these centres.

It needs mention here that State Health Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press conference on Monday appealed to all candidates of ensuing HSLC and HS to get vaccinated before the commencement of their examination.

Centres where Covaxin will be given (9 Feb to 12 Feb):

1.  Narsing HS School: 600 doses of Covaxin- on 9 Feb only
2. Govt Girls HS School: 400 doses of Covaxin- on 10 February only
3. DNNK School: 400 doses of Covaxin- on 11 February only
4. SC Dev Vidyapeeth, Tarapur- 300 doses of Covaxin- on 12 February only.
