Amul Topical’s special doodle congratulates Himanta Biswa Sarma on becoming CM of Assam

May 11: Congratulating Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on becoming the Chief Minister of Assam, the country’s leading dairy brand Amul on May 10 took to its official Twitter handle to share a topical doodle. Playing with words in the advert, the creators wrote, “Amul Sar Makhan Khao” In another twist, depicted Himanta Biswa Sarma standing in front of the map of Assam waving his fingers in victory symbol and wrote, “Ispar Biswas Karo”. The heading goes, “Amul Topical: New CM of Assam chosen!” This doodle by Amul has so far garnered over 17,800 likes.

Retweeting the image on 10 May, Chief Minister of Assam, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “May 10, 2021 ~ A Great Day. Indeed. And the icing on the cake was this #AmulTopical. Thank you @Amul_Coop.” Commenting on it, a tweeter user wrote, “Indeed an utterly butterly proud moment for Assam as we rarely get featured in such iconic things … ! Good start CM sir.”

It needs mention here that BJP leader Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma was sworn-in as the 15th Chief Minister of Assam on 10 May.

Earlier, the Amul Topical had also shared special doodles for West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, Tamil Nadu CM MK Stalin and Kerala CM Pinarayi Vijayan for their victories in the Assembly elections 2021.
