Administrative reshuffle, new Circle Officers appointed

August 31: An administrative reshuffle was ordered by the Department of Personnel (Personnel A), Government of Assam on 31 August. As per the notification issued by the Secretary to the Government of Assam, a number of transfers were also initiated by the state government in Barak Valley. These are:

• Debajyoti Gogoi, ACS (DR 2016), , Assistant Commissioner, Cachar is transferred and her services are placed at the disposal of Revenue & Disaster Management Department for posting her as Circle Officer, Badarpur Revenue Circle.
• Devid Kumar Borah, ACS (DR 2016), Assistant Commissioner, Hojai is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Revenue & Disaster Management Department for posting him as Circle Officer, Patharkandi Revenue Circle.
• Van Lal Limpuia, ACS (DR 2016), Election Officer, South Salmara Mancachar is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Revenue & Disaster Management Department for posting him as Circle Officer, R.K. Nagar Revenue Circle.
• Rahul Doley, ACS (DR 2016), Election Officer, Hailakandi is transferred and his services are placed at the disposal of Revenue & Disaster Management Department for posting him as Circle Officer, Hojai Revenue Circle.
