133 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Monday, 17 discharged

May 31: Hailakandi registered 133 new COVID-19 cases on Monday. Of the 133 positive cases detected on Monday, 119 have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) and 14 found positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 1,437 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 2,071 RAT tests and 249 RT-PCR tests were done. 17 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that 104 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Sunday. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 6,269.

As of now, in the 55,160 persons have received the 1st dose of the vaccine (irrespective of age), whereas, 16,340 have been administered the 2nd dose in Hailakandi district.
