Training tournament for Northeast players to begin for learning to play chess in Tornelo

May 28: The All India Chess Federation Tournament shall take place in June 2021. That means, one can participate at national level chess tournament from Silchar too. However, prior to that players shall have to play in the state level competition under the aegis of All Assam Chess Association, which will in all probability start within a few days.

The chess tournament will now take place online on a new platform ‘Tornelo.’ Therefore, in order to provide the basic knowledge of how to play in Tornelo, a series of events on the next few days has been organised. The 1st such event will take place online on 29 May, 2021 at 4 PM. It will be a three round tournament of 15 minute with 10 second increment time control in Swiss system. The tournament link is www.tornelo.com.
