ওয়েটুবরাক, ২৭ মে: শনবিল নৌকাডুবির ঘটনায় নিখোঁজ দুইজনের মৃতদেহ উদ্ধার করা হয়েছে৷ এসডিআরএফ ১৫ ঘণ্টারও বেশি সময় ধরে বিশাল বিলে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে তাঁদের মৃতদেহ খুঁজে বের করেন৷ এখন দেহগুলি ময়নাতদন্তের জন্য শিলচর মেডিক্যাল কলেজে পাঠানো হচ্ছে৷ পরে তুলে দেওয়া নিকটাত্মীয়দের হাতে৷

বুধবার বিকালে আচমকা ঝড় এলে শনবিলে দাড়টানা নৌকোটি পাল্টি খায়৷ তাতে মাঝি সহ ৫ জন ছিলেন৷ ৩ জন সাঁতরে পারে উঠতে সক্ষম হলেও জলে ডুবে যান ৫৫ বছরের উজ্জ্বলা দাস ও ১০ বছরের হাসি দাস৷ প্রথমে তাঁদের মা-মেয়ে বলে জানা গেলেও আজ নিশ্চিত হওয়া গিয়েছে, এই তথ্য ঠিক নয়৷

May 27: Dead bodies of two missing persons were recovered on Thursday, after both of them drowned when their boat capsized at Sonbeel at around 4.30 PM on Wednesday. In that mishap, 5 persons including the boatman fell down in the water due to a storm. While 3 of them swum across to safety but two persons- Ujjala Das, wife of Omaresh Das, 45, of village Kalyanpur and Hasi Das, 10, daughter of Bishnu Pada Das of village Santipur were drowned. The boat with five persons was going from Kalyanpur to Fakua when the incident took place.

Immediately after the incident, SDRF was called in. The search operation by SDRF at Sonbeel continued for 15 long hours. Finally, on Thursday, the dead bodies of both of them were recovered and sent to Silchar Medical College for autopsy. Later on, the bodies will be handed over to their family.
