Rajib Roy, former ADC posted as District Development Commissioner, Cachar

May 17: Former Additional Deputy Commissioner of Cachar, Rajib Roy, ACS was transferred just on the eve of the Assam Assembly Election, 2021 and was posted as ADC Dima Hasao district. However, in an administrative reshuffle on Monday, Rajib Roy, ACS (DR 97) was promoted to the Senior Grade I of ACS and posted as District Development Commissioner (DDC), Cachar.

Rajib Roy will assume charge as the DDC in place of Bhupesh Chandra Das, who has been transferred and posted as Joint Secretary to the Government of Assam, General Administration Department.
