HS 1st year exam which was postponed, now cancelled; students promoted to 2nd year: AHSEC

May 10: The Higher Secondary First Year Examination which was earlier postponed by AHSEC has now been cancelled. Informing this, Pankaj Borthakur, Controller of Examinations of Assam Higher Secondary Education Council (AHSEC) issued a notification. Further, it was informed that all students who have filled up online exam forms of HS 1st year examinations were promoted to HS 2nd year.

As per the notification issued by AHSEC, it was stated, “It is for information of all concerned that, due to prevailing COVID 19 pandemic situation, the Higher Secondary First Year Examination, 2021 scheduled to be held from 04/05/2021 which was postponed has now been cancelled and all the students, who have filled up online applications for the same are hereby declared to have been promoted to the H S 2nd Year Class for the academic session 2021-2022.”
