100 Covid deaths in Assam in last 3 days including 41 on Tuesday

May 4: With a tragic turn of events, more and more people are losing their lives in Assam due to Covid-19. In the last three days, 82 persons in the state have lost their lives due to the deadly coronavirus. On 2 May, 30 people succumbed to Covid-19, 3 May recorded 29 more deaths and on 4 May, 41 persons lost their lives in the virus attack.

Out of the 41 deceased on Tuesday, 15 are from Kamrup Metro, 4 from Bongaigaon, 3 each from Jorhat and Udalguri, 2 each from Golaghat, Darrang, Kamrup Rural and Tinsukia; 1 each from Baksha, Barpeta, Dibrugarh, Goalpara, Lakhimpur, Nagaon, Nalbari & Sonitpur. The death tally of the state now stands at 1,430.
