With 17 more Covid-19 +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 92 on Friday

April 23: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Friday at 11.50 PM. As per the latest data, 17 more persons were detected as coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 92 persons were found positive in the district on 23 April. Earlier, during the evening, it was informed that 75 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has now gone up to 374.

As per the updated data, a total of 1,733 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, a total of 40 persons were found positive, whereas 52 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Friday night. However, on Thursday,  38 persons were tested positive.
