385 tests COVID-19 +ve in Assam on Wednesday, 3 deaths registered

April 14: On Wednesday, out of 30,065 tests, 385 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,21,868. The positivity rate in the state is 1.28 percent. At present, there are 3,200 active cases in the state. Kamrup (M) district recorded 201 cases during the day.

On Wednesday, 106 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,16,199, patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by NHM, Assam. The recovery rate in the state is 97.44%.

Further, during the day, 03 patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The deceased are from Kamrup Metro, Dibrugarh and Hojai. The death tally of the state stands at 1,122.
