AIR to generate awareness about poll process

.March 9: Office of Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) is taking every possible step to acquaint general people about the electioneering process and towards conducting a free and fair poll. Under this initiative the Chief Electoral Officer, Assam has entrusted senior officers to participate in interview based programme of All India Radio (AIR) about various aspects of poll preparedness.

Accordingly, Debo Prasad Mishra, Addl CEO and Lakhinandan Saharia, Jt. CEO will speak about Training and Electoral Roll at 9:30 pm on 9th March, Vinod Seshan, Addl. CEO and two officers will speak about MCC and Expenditure Monitoring at 9:30 pm on 16th March, Oinam Sarankumar Singh, Addl. CEO and Pranial Choudhury Jt. CEO will speak about Postal ballot facilities at 9:30 pm on 23rd March, Rahul Chandra Das Jt. CEO and one officer will talk about the Poll Process at 9:30 pm on 25th March, Pulak Patgiri Jt. CEO and one officer will speak about EVM matters on 30th March at 9:30 pm and Dr. P. Uday Praveen Jt. CEO and Dimple Barua will talk about SVEEP at 9:30 pm on 3rd April next.
