Returning Officers, Asstt.Returning Officers notified by ECI for Hailakandi election district

March 2: In pursuance of the notification of the Election Commission of India, a number of senior officials have been notified as Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers for ensuring smooth conduct of Assembly elections on April 1.

Among them, three Returning Officers and nine Assistant Returning Officers have been appointed for the three LACs. Megh Nidhi Dahal, District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner will look after 6 Hailakandi Legislative Assembly Constituency, Dhrubajyoti Dev, Additional Deputy Commissioner for 7 Katlicherra LAC and Narendra Kumar Shah, Additional Deputy Commissioner for 8 Algapur LAC.

At the same time, those who have been notified as Assistant Returning Officers for the three Assembly constituencies in the district are CEO, Hailakandi Zilla Parishad Jaydeep Shukla, Hailakandi Circle Officer Tridib Roy and Lala Circle Officer Arpita Dutta Majumder for Hailakandi LAC. Similarly, Additional Deputy Commissioner, AR Majumder, Assistant Commissioner Sari L. Langtau along with Circle Officer of Katlicherra, Soma Roy have been appointed as Assistant Returning Officers for the Katlicherra LAC. On the other hand, Assistant Returning Officers notified for Algapur LAC are Additional Deputy Commissioner, Deepmala Goala, Algapur Circle Officer Saptati Endow and Election Officer Twahir Alom.
