Delegation of Hailakandi DCC visits Assam- Mizoram border

Feb. 12: A delegation of Hailakandi District Congress Committee led by its President Joynal Uddin Laskar visited the Assam -Mizoram border at Kochurthol under Katlicherra constituency of Hailakandi district on Friday. The delegation had also met the poor homeless families whose houses were burnt down by Mizo miscreants recently. The delegation had assured all possible help to them.

The delegation comprised of Sanjeev Roy (Secretary of Assam Pradesh Congress Committee ), Dilwar Hussain Barbhuiya (Secretary, APCC), Firoj Khan (GS, Hailakandi DCC), Salim Mira (GS, Hailakandi DCC), Adv Najrul Islam (President, South Hailakandi Block Congress Committee), Mukul Mondal (Working President,Katlicherra Block Congress Committee), Bacchu Paul (Spokesperson, Hailakandi DCC), Pritom Das (APCC Assembly Co-ordinator, Katlicherra), Manoj Baroi (Katlicherra Assembly Co-ordinator, Hailakandi DCC), Podda Das and others.

The delegation has demanded immediate resignation of Assam Chief Minister and Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chairman NEDA for their failure again in protecting the land of Assam from neighbouring aggression.
