Earthquake measuring 4.4 jolts Mizoram again

Jan. 17: An earthquake measuring 4.4 on the Richter scale, jolted parts of Mizoram at 2.18 am on January 17. As per National Center for Seismology (NCS), it was stated, “Earthquake of Magnitude:4.4, Occurred on 17-01-2021, 02:18:11 IST, Lat: 23.65 & Long: 93.46, Depth: 55 Km ,Location: 25km NNE of Champhai, Mizoram, India” However, there were no reports of any casualties till the filing of this report.
