Cachar BJYM celebrates National Youth Day

Jan. 12: On the occasion of Swami Vivekananda’s 158th birth anniversary, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (BJYM), Cachar District paid floral tribute to this great visionary. As a part of National Youth Day, Cachar BJYM team on Tuesday morning gathered near the statue of Swami Vivekananda in Silchar Sadarghat and paid rich tribute to the spiritual philosopher who believed in the power of youth.

Speaking during the occasion, President of BJYM Cachar District, Amitesh Chakraborty appealed to the youth to share their thoughts and ideas and follow the path of Swami Vivekananda. He also urged the youth to join hands in the work of nation building. Cachar District BJP Vice-President Dipayan Chakraborty also participated and said,”Let us spread Swami Vivekananda’s dynamic thoughts and ideals far and wide.”

During the day, Assam Pradesh Yuva Morcha Vice-President Jayanta Chakraborty, Cachar District Yuva Morcha Vice-President Bijay Chanda, Nilanjan Bhattacharjee, Sukanta Suklabaidya, Secretary Ozoswee Das, Baishali Dutta Roy, Subham Roy, District Media in-charge Mohitosh Tanti, Kanchan Deb and others were present.
