169 tests +ve in Assam on Friday; 121 patients discharged
Active cases 3,551 in Assam
Dec. 4: On Friday, out of 28,451 tests 169 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,13,505 out of which, 3,551 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.59 percent.
On Thursday, 121 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,08,964 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 02 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 987.
