Assam registers 2 more deaths on Friday due to COVID-19, toll reaches 980

Nov. 27: On Friday, two more persons lost their lives in Assam due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state has now reached 980. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma. The 02 deceased were identified as:

• Kashi Sharma (75) of Dibrugarh
• Binoy Bhushan Nath (81) of Goalpara
