152 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday; 395 patients discharged

Nov. 8: On Sunday, out of 10,985 tests only 152 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,08,789 out of which, 6,512 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.38 percent.

On Sunday, 395 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,01,331 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 03 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 943.
