Himanta discusses health insurance scheme for employees with Karmachari Parishad

Sept. 30: It was a long standing demand of the employees of state government employees to bring them under the Health Insurance Scheme by the Government of Assam. In this connection, the state government was approached many a times by the employees association.

Finally, on Wednesday, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma held a meeting with the representatives of the Sodou Asom Karmachari Parishad (SAKP) in Guwahati. In the said meeting, discussion was held as regards the implementation of Health Insurance Scheme for the State Govt Employees. The scheme will help employees and their families in meeting health related emergencies.
