2553 patients discharged in Assam on Saturday

Sept. 12: On Saturday, 2553 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 1,10,882 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged in the state. In a tweet, State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “2553 patients discharged today. May God bless all recovered patients and their families with good health & happy lives. Best wishes.”

On Saturday, 2132 positive cases were reported in Assam. With this, a total of 1,40,471 positive cases were reported in the state till now, out of which, 31,686 are active cases. Further, Assam registered its biggest single day spike of 23 deaths due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death toll to 453.
