20 more hospitals including a hospital each in Silchar & Hailakandi to offer free kidney dialysis

Sept. 12: From now onwards, free kidney dialysis will be offered by the state government in 20 more hospitals of Assam under the Pradhan Mantri National Dialysis Programme. This was said by Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma during a press briefing in Assam Secretariat on Saturday. The minister further declared that the 20 hospitals will equip itself with dialysis facility within the next 2 months.

It needs mention here that free kidney dialysis facility has already been started at 20 hospitals of the state and a total of 55,168 patients have availed this facility till now. With 20 new hospitals, more people will be able to reap its benefits free of cost. Here is the list of 20 hospitals where free dialysis facility will be started:
