Earthquake measuring 5.1 hits Manipur

September 1: An earthquake of magnitude 5.1 on the Richter scale occurred at 55 km east of Ukhrul in Manipur in the early hours of Tuesday, according to the National Centre for Seismology. However, no casualty was reported due to the earthquake. The quake occurred at Latitude 24.88 & Longitude 95.03, Depth: 130 Km, Location 55 kms East of Ukhrul, Manipur.
