২৪ অক্টোবরঃ এক চোরকে গ্রেফতার করে ৮টি দামি মোবাইল উদ্ধার করেছে পুলিশ। একটি মামলার তদন্তে তারা মধুরবন্দের আরিফউদ্দিন লস্করের দিকে নজর রাখছিল। শেষে তল্লাশি চালিয়ে তার কাছ থেকে ৮টি মোবাইল উদ্ধার করা হয়। পুলিশ জানিয়েছে, সবকটি মোবাইল যে সে বিভিন্ন জায়গা থেকে চুরি করে এনেছে, তা আরিফ স্বীকার করে নিয়েছে। তারা আশাবাদী, তাকে জেরা করে আরও বহু চুরি যাওয়া মোবাইল উদ্ধার করা সম্ভব হবে। ধরা পড়বে আরও চোর।

October 24: Police has arrested a thief and recovered 8 costly mobile phones from his possession. While investigating a case, police targeted one Arif Uddin Laskar of Madhurband area of Silchar. Later on, on searching, they found those 8 mobiles. Police informed that Arif has confessed that he has stolen the mobiles from different places. They are hopeful that further interrogation of Arif will reveal several other cases of mobile theft. Police are also trying to nab others mobile thieves on the basis of the information revealed by Arif.
