1088 new +ve cases reported from Assam on Wednesday, state tally 19,754

July 15: On Wednesday, a total of 1088 positive cases were reported from across Assam. With this, the total number of coronavirus cases has gone upto 19,754 in the state, out of which, 6815 are active cases. Further, during the day, 715 patients were discharged in Assam. So far, 12,888 patients were discharged in the state. Wednesday also witnessed two more deaths due to COVID-19, thereby taking the death tally to 48. In a tweet, State Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma wrote, “Alert ~ 1088 new #COVID19 ve+ patients in Assam, 649 in Guwahati alone. Stay at home. Stay fit. Stay safe!”
