3,420 people arrested, 21,102 vehicles detained for lockdown violation in Assam

Assam 28: Incidents of lockdown violation seems to be on the rise. This has become an all-India phenomenon. As of 28 April, a total of 3.420 persons were arrested for violation of the lockdown norms. A total of 21,102 vehicles and 28 boats detained from the various districts of Assam. Further, 2446 incidents such incidents were reported and 1558 cases were registered.  A total of Rs. 1,47,23,400 collected as fine from the violators.
