BVCL distributes food material among 273 needy families
April 6: The 21 days lockdown has rendered many without work and income. Along with government aid, many individuals, voluntary associations, business houses have also resolved to stand besides the poor and needy at this hour of crisis. In one such move, Barak Valley Cements Limited (BVCL), came forward to help people at this hour of crisis.
On Monday, BVCL distributed food packets among 273 families of Devendranagar village. Packets were prepared by BVCL which contained essential commodities like rice, pulses. mustard oil, salt and soap. Social distancing was followed during distribution of the packets.
Group Vice President of BVCL Mukesh Agarwal, Biswarup Bhattacharjee,State VP, BJP, Deepak Deb,\Member BJP, Railway Area Manager S Umesh, Principal of VKV P Chakravorty, Pawan Tulshyan, B L Meel, R K Rai, Tapan Dasgupta, Babloo Endow and many other Executives of BVCL and its well wishers were present during the distribution of essential commodities.
